The theme & objective
The present world economic crisis has its impact far and wide. India too has been affected badly. The industrial production has also fallen significantly apart from other segments of economy. In such a difficult time, most of the industrial establishments have taken various steps in struggling to stay afloat and address the crisis seriously. All the possible steps like increasing productivity, cost management, inventory control, reduction in consumables, spare salvaging etc. have taken the front seat.
To emphasize on re-use & salvaging, a National Weld Meet on "Fighting Recession Through Reclamation and Welding" is being organized jointly by Bhilai Steel Plant & The Indian Institute of Welding, Bhilai Branch, will be an appropriate forum for exchange of knowledge and ideas.
