- The Transition Criteria Options mentioned are general requirements for candidates wishing to apply for award of Diploma through Transition Arrangements. However, conformance of the candidate’s total qualification and experience with the Transition Criteria approved by the International Authorisation Board (IAB) will be judged by the Assessment Committee for Transition Arrangements of the Indian Institute of Welding-ANB, whose decision will be binding for award of Transition Diplomas.

- Special discount of 10% on total fees for ‘Early Bird’ applications received 6 weeks before the announced course date and “Group Application” by more than 3 candidates in a group shall be adjusted against the balance amount payable after the course.

Applications along with Registration Forms (Available in the Download section) duly filled must be accompanied by an amount of Rs.12,000 only.

The Registration and course Fees amounting to Rs.11,000.00 will be refunded in case the application is not approved by the assessment committee.

Candidates fulfilling the entry requirement of Route 1 for Comprehensive, Standard & Basic Welding Inspection qualification are not required to attend a 6 day refresher course and will be eligible for reduction of fees under item 3 by Rs.5,000 for each levels

Balance fees are payable after the candidate attends the refresher course and passes the Objective test and interview, on payment of which he will be issued the recommended Diploma

The International Authorisation Board of IIW have recently extended the period of Transition Route for IWE/IWT/IWS/IWP upto 03-01-2012.

However the Candidates must have fulfilled the Criteria for Transition with respect to qualification and experience by 31-12-2010. Any qualification and experience obtained afterwards will not be considered.

- Candidates are initially required to send Rupees 15,000.00 (Rupees Fifteent thousand Only) covering the Application, Registration and Refresher Course Fees. The payment should be made by DD payable at Kolkata in favour of “The Indian Institute of Welding-ANB” along with their filled up Application and Registration Forms available on this website.
