Access / Eligibility Conditions by Transition Arrangement for IWS
Option – 1
 
  • Professional Technician Certificate, minimum 2 years of study after Secondary Education
    OR
    Qualified as an International Welding Practitioner (IWP)
  • Have attended welder’s training course from a recognised Institute
  • 3-years verifiable experience in the welding field at the level of IWS
  To attend a 5-days refresher course conducted by the ANB, followed by Test and an Interview.
   
  Option – 2
 
  • Professional Technician Certificate, minimum 2 years of study after Secondary Education
    OR
    Qualified as an International Welding Practitioner (IWP)
  • 8-years verifiable experience out of which 5-years in welding field and Practising at the level of IWS for 3-years
  To attend a 5-days refresher course conducted by the ANB, followed by Test and Interview.
