Option – 1 |
| |
- Diploma in Engineering from a recognised University, Institute or College in Mech. / Elec. / Met. / Mat. Sc. / Civil with specialisation in Welding
- 5-years verifiable industrial experience in the field of welding of which 3-years practising at the level of IWT

To attend a 5-days refresher course conducted by the ANB, followed by Test and an Interview. |

Option – 2 |
| |
- Diploma in Engineering from a recognised University, Institute or College in Mech. / Elec. / Met. / Mat. Sc. / Civil,
OR
Passed Associate Membership Examinations from any one of the following professional institute
- The Indian Institute of Welding
- The Institution of Engineers (India)
- The Indian Institute of Metals
- 8-years verifiable industrial experience of which 5-years in the welding field and practising at the level of IWT for 3-years
