The Transition Criteria Options mentioned are general requirements for candidates wishing to apply for award of Diploma through Transition Arrangements. However, conformance of the candidate’s total qualification and experience with the Transition Criteria approved by the International Authorisation Board (IAB) will be judged by the Assessment Committee for Transition Arrangements of the Indian Institute of Welding-ANB, whose decision will be binding for award of Transition Diplomas
Candidates are initially required to send Rupees 8,000.00 (Rupees Eight thousand Only) covering the Application, Registration and Course Fees. The payment should be made by DD payable at Kolkata in favour of “The Indian Institute of Welding-ANB” along with their filled up Application and Registration Forms available on this website. The Registration and course Fees amounting to Rs.7,000.00 will be refunded in case the application is not approved by the assessment committee
Balance fees are payable after the candidate attends the refresher course and passes the Objective test and interview, on payment of which he will be issued the recommended Diploma
Special discount of 10% on total fees for ‘Early Bird’ applications received 6 weeks before the announced course date and “Group Application” by more than 3 candidates in a group shall be adjusted against the balance amount payable after the course

The above Fees are payable by DD or crossed cheques at Par payable at Kolkata to “The Indian Institute of Welding-ANB” for transition only
Candidates fulfilling the entry requirement of Route 1 for Comprehensive, Standard & Basic Welding Inspection qualification are not required to attend a 6 day refresher course and will be eligible for reduction of fees under item 3 by Rs.5,000 for each levels
Candidates are advised to contact/mail to ANB – India to obtain clarifications on ‘Early Bird’ applications and “Group Application”
The planned dates for conducting Interview under the Transition Arrangement for “International Welding Inspection Personnel” are not yet finalised and will be posted on the website once the dates are fixed.
Candidates are required to make their own travel & hotel arrangements.
