| The ANB accepts responsibility for the implementation of the current IIW system for education, examination and qualification of welding personnel at the national level.
The ANB seeks to achieve harmonisation and a common standard in the examination and qualification of professional welding personnel internationally. The national welding organisations, being members of the IIW, mutually acknowledge the Diplomas awarded in any Member Country to International Welding Personnel, following examination conducted in accordance with IAB Guidelines.

The ANB is assessed and monitored in compliance with the Rules of the IIW by IAB, and are responsible for ensuring that the standards of education, examination and qualification are maintained. In this, the objective is that IIW qualified personnel at a certain level will have achieved the same minimum level of knowledge, irrespective of the country in which they had been qualified.
A Quality System Manual (Quality Policy) has been made and being followed with an objective to ensure consistent quality of ANB operation and conformity to the requirements specified by IIW- IAB. |
