The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW)

is a professional body devoted to the cause of promotion and advancement of welding science and technology in India. Established in the year 1966, with its registered office at kolkata, it has 11branches located all over India. About 4000 welding professionals and over 300 industrial / corporate bodies are members of this Institute.

Disseminate development and knowledge in the field of welding and allied technology through seminars, workshops, training programs etc

Provide technical guidance and consultation to industries in welding

Conduct associate membership examination (AMIIW) recognised by AICTE as equivalent to B. E. Degree for purpose of employment
